Funding Sources

MFIs obtain funding from various sources to finance their operations and provide loans to clients. These sources can include

Donor funds,

Government grants,

Commercial borrowings, 

Equity investments,

and Deposits from clients.

Some MFIs also access wholesale funding from larger financial institutions or through capital markets.
